  1. Introductions

  1. Review of minutes from previous month were approved as written.

  1. Accident & Near Miss Review (Workers’ Compensation)

    1. One worker’s compensation claim during month of April.

  1. Standing reports:

    1. University Police

      1. Representative Karl Mortenson shared the Daily Crime Log from the Police Services webpage for April. 

    2. EH&S

      1. Chemical Hygiene Plan has been accepted by School of Science and Technology and Academic Affairs has begun implementation. 

      2. Hazard Communication Program has been updated and is moving forward. 

      3. Risk and Safety Services software is being implemented with Instructional Support Technician’s within schools. 

      4. Drinking Water Program is progressing as planned. 

      5. Implementation of new Stormwater Permit/Plan is progressing as planned. 

      6. Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure program is under way. 

      7. Compliance based training for EH&S will be provided to HR soon for review. 

      8. Cart Safety Program is in final draft phase, and key stakeholders will be consulted in the coming weeks. 

    3. Student Affairs

      1. Disability Advisory Group continues to meet and support students in safe equipment and classroom furniture. 

      2. Virtual Sexual Assault Awareness week was a success and Virtual Take Back the Night Walk was well attended. Currently, planning for Fall around safety-based programs and activities. 

    4. Facilities Management

      1. Facilities is continuing to provide essential services on campus under the direction of the Emergency Operations Center and the Department Operations Center for the Alternate Care Site at SSU.

  1. Emergency Services

    1. COVID-19 Campus update

      1. COVID-19 (commonly known as Coronavirus) has taken over the world and become a global pandemic.  

      2. California and the County of Sonoma continues to be ahead of COVID-19 and measures continue to be in place to help limit exposure. 

      3. Current Shelter-in-Place order is indefinite and has been in effect until May 4. 

      4. Campus Emergency Operations Center is running and is responding to issues that continue to impact from COVID-19 such as telecommuting, continuity of operations and management of campus issues and policies. 

      5. EOC is continuing to plan for major areas of concern with safety and health at the forefront of decision-making. 

      6. President Sakaki has established two working groups (Academic Continuity and Operational Planning) to help consultatively guide the University through this dynamic situation. 

      7. The Alternate Care Site operated by the County of Sonoma Health Services is operating in Verdot Village, parts of Sauvignon Village, and the Recreation Center including parts of the Student Center. 

  1. New Business from members / Roundtable Discussion

    1. Clarification on the location of Darwin Hall/Recreation Center dumpsters occurred in preparation for spring semester campus clearance process beginning next week.

    2. Proposed move-out from Stevenson was discussed and Tyson Hill shared the EOC and Stevenson Hall Renovation Task Force are working on a plan for this in light of social distancing protocol and the revised timeline.
