The hazards associated with confined space entry are numerous, which include, but are not limited to, flammable, toxic, and/or oxygen deficient atmospheres; and the potential for entrapment and engulfment. The Confined Space Entry Program details the requirements that must be strictly followed to ensure the safety of Sonoma State University, (SSU) personnel who work in and around confined spaces.
