Meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m.

Karl Mortenson brought up concerns related to safety and utility carts on campus. SSUPD is observing cell phone violation, headphone violations, and safety concerns regarding nighttime use. Mortenson asked for folks to spread the reminder to their areas to help ensure campus safety.

Mortenson also shared that SSUPD is participating in a winter clothing drive in November and December for all folks and departments who want to participate.

Michael Eynon shared a safety concern related to the pathway between Zinfandel and Verdot Village, that cars mistakenly use that as a pathway, which is only for pedestrians. Megan Varnadore agreed to follow-up on the item on behalf of Transportation and Parking Services.

Missy Brunetta shared that Environmental Health and Safety Services is working with Facilities Management regarding a chemical imbalance in residential hot tubs.

The Committee toured the newly renovated Stevenson Hall.
