  1. Meeting was called to order at 9:03 a.m. 

  2. Prior month’s minutes are not available and will be reviewed at next meeting

  3. Incident Review 

    1. Tiffany Perry reported three worker’s compensation reports and one minor cut incident. A case was also moved from Risk Management to Workers Compensation last month. 

  4. Standing Reports

    1. Karl Mortenson from the Sonoma State Police Department reported statistics from the Daily Crime Log. Crimes this month included a number of thefts from classrooms and offices;  Julie Barnes shared her perspective that classrooms need to remain locked and faculty need to be issued keys to ensure proper security.

    2. Missy Brunetta shared that EHS is in the process of annual program updates. Various inspections are occurring during June including wastewater and medical waste. 

    3. Dana Twedell shared that Facilities Management (FM) went through a CUPA inspection in coordination with EHS and was very grateful to EHS for their help in the successful completion and passing of the inspection. Twedell shared that the ongoing electric issues root cause has been identified and they are working to resolve the issue. Twedell also shared that the dismount zones on campus are becoming more of an issue with non-compliance. FM will follow up with Parking and SSUPD on next steps. 

    4. Ryan Jasen Henne from Student Affairs provided an update on the end of  semester and reviewed the fall semester move-in plan and orientation schedule. 

    5. Michael Eynon shared that Disability Services for Students are working with incoming students to provide services and resources. 

    6. Missy Brunetta had no updates on SafeSSU. 

    7. Jordan Lundberg, Teamsters Safety Steward, had no updates.

    8. No representative present for CFA or APC.

    9. Brunetta shared an update on COVID-19, which is currently surging in both Sonoma County and the state. Campus cases have remained static in line with the local community. 

    10. Brunetta provided updates regarding wildfire season within Sonoma County. Based on weather and vegetation conditions, the county has entered fire season.
