  1. Introductions

    1. No new members or guests present.

  1. Review of minutes from previous month were approved as written. 

  1. Accident & Near Miss Review (Workers’ Compensation)

    1. Injuries reporting November were ongoing or repetitive motion injuries. No other large concerns in the Worker’s Compensation area. 

  1. Standing reports:

    1. University Police

      1. Representative Karl Mortenson reported five arrests in November that a DUI and various warrant arrests. Crime reports and call included disturbance calls, noise violations, a sexual assault, and a grand theft auto report. 

    2. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

      1. EHS new website is live. Big thank you to Chris Angle, Christy Gorman, and Kendall Newman for the hard work on this project. 

      2. Procurement of chemicals process is being reviewed with Jenifer Barnett to including delineation of chemical purchasing to streamline the process. 

      3. Aerial lift program training is in process with Facilities Management. 

      4. Chemical inventories are in process with RSS software. 

      5. Refrigeration Management Program is in development.

    3. Student Affairs

      1. Disability Services for Students website is now live. 

      2. Student Affairs is actively monitoring and supporting COVID cases locally and to all students. 

      3. Preparation for the closing of the Residential Communities for the winter break continues. 

    4. Facilities Management

      1. Exterior tree project work is completed. 

      2. Exterior Ives Hall lighting project is competed. 

    5. Emergency Services

      1. Fire season continues through the end of November although we are expecting rain in the coming days. 

      2. COVID-19 update

        1. SSU remains positive in a surge of cases both locally and statewide. SSU continues to have a relatively low case count. 

        2. Sonoma County may enter a limited Stay Home order like much of the Bay Area counties but that is in development. 

        3. There have been changes from the CDC on quarantine and release. Sonoma County has not yet adopted these changes. 

        4. Gaiter and bandana face masks are no longer allowed on campus due to changes in the CDC facial covering updates. 

      3. Spring 2021 Continuity Planning

        1. No significant changes in spring planning.

        2. Suspension of all in-person student activities until February 1, 2021. 

  1. New Business / Roundtable Discussion

    1. SafeSSU Website

      1. Emergency Services and Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination are collaborating on a comprehensive safety website

    2. Jeanne Clery Act Annual Security Report

      1. Annual Security Report is due on December 15 and will be released to the campus community soon.
